Creative writing workshops: I teach online and in-person workshops in a variety of settings, including with high school students, continuous or higher ed and festivals. Recent workshops I’ve taught include writing about place, how to handle revisions, using the five senses and celebrating hybrid forms.
One-off coaching sessions: Flexible, as-needed advice, great for pushing past a specific block, mapping out a project, or establishing an accountability structure.
Multiple sessions: Regular biweekly or monthly meetings to identify goals, milestones and steps to be taken.
Manuscript assessment: basic editorial assessment, in the form of a letter highlighting what’s working well and what to consider for a revision, offering potential ways forward.
Developmental edits: a more hands-on approach, with line-edits focusing on style and craft, accompanied by a one-on-one session online.
